Pentera has been named GM Sectec Partner of the Year, marking a milestone in a fast-moving partnership that has delivered customer wins and regional expansion across the Americas. The award caps a breakout year following the companies’ partnership announcement in April 2025.

The news highlights how security validation and channel-led go-to-market strategies are shaping real-world cyber resilience. It also shows how AI-powered testing is being tied directly to compliance frameworks and operational outcomes across global regions.

Channel-first strategy delivers fast results

The Partner of the Year recognition reflects the pace and scale of execution achieved in less than eight months. Pentera, positioned as a market leader in AI-powered Security Validation, credits its channel-first approach for accelerating adoption and customer impact alongside GM Sectec.

“GM Sectec has proven to be a powerhouse partner, and the dozens of joint opportunities we’ve created in such a short time speak to the strength of this relationship,” said Peter Rodriguez, AVP Channel Management, Americas at Pentera. “Pentera is deeply committed to a channel-first strategy, and our investment in this partnership reflects that. Together with GM Sectec’s regional leadership, Pentera is delivering meaningful security outcomes for customers across the Americas.”

According to the companies, joint engagement has resulted in multiple customer wins and consistent pipeline activity, driven by close alignment between sales, technical teams, and regional leadership.

Strong traction across LATAM and the US

While the partnership spans the Americas, momentum has been particularly strong across Latin America. Pentera and GM Sectec have aligned on strategic accounts throughout LATAM, while also gaining traction in the United States.

The collaboration is centered on helping organizations move from periodic penetration testing to continuous, automated validation. By simulating real-world attacks on an ongoing basis, customers can better understand exposure, prioritize remediation, and track improvement over time.

This approach is increasingly relevant as enterprises face growing pressure to demonstrate measurable security performance rather than rely on point-in-time assessments.

AI-powered validation tied to compliance needs

GM Sectec points to Pentera’s technology as a differentiator in its portfolio, particularly in regulated environments. “Pentera brings our customers the ability to validate their defenses against real-world attacks and threat actor techniques, not theoretical models,” said Héctor Guillermo Martínez, President of GM Sectec.

“Their AI-powered platform has allowed organizations to verify security control performance in alignment with PCI DSS 4.0.1 requirements, understand true cyber risk, and improve their security posture with confidence, ensuring continuous compliance and audit readiness. Pentera has added a differentiated offering to our portfolio that goes beyond periodic testing to enable ongoing validation and faster remediation of vulnerabilities. The results speak for themselves. We’re proud to recognize them as our Partner of the Year.”

For Pentera, the award reinforces its focus on partners as a primary growth engine, with LATAM serving as a proving ground for scalable, execution-driven security validation.
