Electronics may be a niche, but the audience is growing fast — and Elektor International Media is positioned at the center of it. The company, which owns eeNews Europe and operates Elektor TV, reported 5.9 million views on its YouTube channel in 2025, a record year that pushed the platform beyond 118,000 subscribers.
The modern advertising frontier
Throughout 2025, the Elektor TV channel experienced a transformative shift in scale and reach. Key performance metrics highlight a significant year-over-year trajectory: 5.9 million total views (+281% versus the prior comparison period); 110,400 hours of watch time (+178%); and +64,800 net new subscribers (+159%).
As the platform scales, it is opening new doors for industry collaboration. Beyond standard media placements, Elektor is leaning into integrated partnerships that allow brands to speak directly to a specialized technical demographic.
“Beyond the metrics, this growth represents a massive advertising opportunity for the electronics companies that collaborate with us,” said C. J. Abate, Elektor’s Director of Content & Engineering. “By leveraging our platform, partners can go beyond traditional banners to run authentic host-read ads, sponsor deep-dive webinars, and integrate their hardware directly into our lab tutorials. It’s a chance to place their products in front of a high-intent, professional audience at the exact moment they are looking for technical solutions.”
Content strategy drives global impact
The Elektor TV channel’s success is built on a diverse programming mix designed to balance rapid reach with deep technical immersion. In 2025, long-form videos accounted for 2.0 million views, providing high-credibility environments for product partners. Meanwhile, livestreams garnered 397,000 views, fostering a dedicated community of recurring viewers.
Reliability has become a hallmark of the platform. Data shows that within the first 28 days of publishing, long-form videos typically secure between 5.7K and 14.4K views, while livestreams consistently achieve 1.1K to 2.6K views.
“In 2025, we made a very deliberate decision to invest in quality — not just quantity — and to publish electronics-focused programming that engineers and innovators can genuinely learn from and put to work,” Abate noted. “Whether it’s embedded development, wireless design, edge AI, or practical circuit-level know-how, our goal with Elektor TV is to deliver trusted, hands-on education that respects the time and intelligence of our audience.”
The future of engineering media
As the industry moves toward visual, on-demand learning, Elektor is positioning video as a central pillar of its media ecosystem, alongside its established magazines, books, and Academy Pro conferences.
“We are seeing a major shift where engineers increasingly rely on visual, on-demand learning to stay ahead,” Abate said. “Elektor is meeting this moment by positioning video as a core pillar of our platform. Whether through a video tutorial, a livestream, a technical webinar, or a detailed text, we are committed to providing innovators with high-level mastery across the full spectrum — from edge AI to wireless applications.”
