Atos has inaugurated a new Modern Security Operations Center (MSOC) in Seville, Spain, expanding its global network of interconnected cybersecurity facilities. The center, already in 24/7 service, is designed to enhance detection, response and management of cyber incidents across IT, OT, and IoT infrastructures.
The investment highlights the continued growth of cybersecurity demand in European enterprise and industrial sectors, as well as the integration of AI-driven SOC tools that are increasingly relevant to high-tech manufacturing and critical infrastructure operators.
Expanding Atos’ global SOC network
The new facility becomes Atos’ 18th SOC worldwide and reinforces the company’s strategy to provide scalable and adaptive managed cybersecurity services. The MSOC combines continuous monitoring, crisis coordination spaces, cybersecurity labs, and a dedicated training center aimed at developing national talent.
Jorge Paradela, the region’s Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines, led the opening ceremony. Paradela emphasized the significance of public-private innovation in strengthening cybersecurity capabilities. He stated, “the future of cybersecurity in Andalusia lies in consolidating an ecosystem that combines the institutional strength of the Andalusian Digital Agency, the technical excellence of our professionals, and private-sector innovation.” He welcomed Atos’ investment as “a step forward in consolidating the Andalusian region as a national and international benchmark in digital protection, innovation, and public-private collaboration, while strengthening our collective capabilities, fostering local talent, and multiplying opportunities for innovation.”
AI-driven SOC capabilities
The Seville MSOC is part of Atos’ strategy to integrate advanced analytics, centralized threat intelligence, automated playbooks, and AI-powered virtual SOC assistance into its security services. It boosts prediction accuracy, threat detection, and response speed against new cyber risks.
According to Arancha Jiménez, VP of Cybersecurity at Atos Iberia, “The integration of the latest Atos innovations of which autonomous AI agents into SOC operations represents a significant step forward. At the Seville center, this technology enhances analytical efficiency and strengthens our real-time response capabilities to cyberthreats.” She added that the new center supports faster and more effective incident response with adaptive, secure solutions.
The facility strengthens cybersecurity support for enterprise and public-sector clients across Iberia and beyond.
